Use Mega Bids to Drive Business Growth in September 2025

Each month, Lohfeld Consulting publishes a Mega Bids blog featuring bids exceeding $500M and its companion Mighty Bids blog, focused on bids ranging from $10M-$499M. This month, we feature 23 Mega Bids valued at more than $538B from the Air Force, Army, Commerce, Homeland Security, Transportation, Health and Human Services, NASA, Navy and Defense agencies. Five Defense bids represent 40% of the total, and we feature two major General Services Agency (GSA) multiple award contracts (MACs).
Mega Bids List Methodology
We only feature bids that have shown government activity, such as the release of a request for information (RFI), sources sought notice (SSN), industry day notice, or other pre-RFP documents. In our October newsletter, we will also publish a list of forecasted (Mystic) for FY26 and beyond.
Every month, we remove stalled bids from the list and resume reporting on them once we have more information, as in the case of the ESSCA II: Engineering Services and Science Capability Augmentation bid. We also take bids off the list that are imminent, as in the case of Program Analysis and Control Services (PAAC IV) and Advisory Support and Technical Requirement Administration (ASTRA). Contact us if you need help with these bids.
