Build Your Task Order Factory

With the next wave of contract awards just around the corner, consider gearing up your task order factory and positioning yourself for success in 2025. Maintaining a task order factory is essential for success in the OASIS+ environment. Key components to include in your task order factory include:

  • Dedicated Proposal Teams: Assemble a team of skilled proposal managers, writers, and subject matter experts who understand the nuances of federal contracting and can craft compelling proposals.
  • Surge Support: Since work surges are common, consider entering into master services agreements with proposal consulting companies like Lohfeld Consulting.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Form alliances with other companies to enhance your capabilities and increase your chances of winning task orders.
  • Efficient Processes: Develop streamlined processes for proposal development, including templates, checklists, and review cycles, to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Technology Integration: Use technology solutions like Artificial Intelligence (AI) to manage proposal data, track opportunities, and automate repetitive tasks, allowing your team to focus on strategic activities.
  • Continuous Improvement: Regularly analyze past performance and feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance future proposals.

By establishing a task order factory, you can efficiently respond to multiple opportunities, increase win rates, and maximize your success under the OASIS+ IDIQ.

Conclusion

The OASIS+ IDIQ represents a significant opportunity to secure a steady stream of federal work across various domains. As GSA continues to roll out awards and expand the program, staying informed, prepared, and proactive is imperative. By using GSA resources, participating in training, and building a task order factory, contractors can position themselves for success.
