To help contractors navigate the high-stakes government contracting environment, Lohfeld Consulting presents the ultimate list of 2025 mega bids. The list covers key opportunities across multiple federal agencies, offering insight into potential contracts that could shape the future of your business. With billions of dollars on the line, strategic planning and early action are more crucial than ever.

Updates on Pending Mega Bids

Before we discuss the mega bids, let’s examine some large multi-award contracts that are either in source selection or in progress.

  • Alliant 3 was released on June 28, 2024, and is due on January 10, 2025. On October 25, 2024, the General Services Administration (GSA) released Modification #3, which answers government responses to requests for proposal (RFP) feedback. GSA anticipates an award in July 2025. GSA will also sponsor a pre-proposal conference on or about November 8, 2024. The estimated contract start date is October 1, 2025.
  • CIO-SP4: The National Institutes of Health Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center (NITAAC) released CIO-SP4 on May 25, 2021. Since then, the bid has undergone many amendments and protests. Therefore, NITAAC extended CIO-SP3 contracts until April 2025, and it is likely to award CIO-SP4 contracts then.
  • SEWP VI The Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) Program Office released SEWP VI on May 23, 2024. As of October 2024, the Program Office has released answers to questions and will conduct industry day on November 6, 2024. There is no definitive due date for proposals, so stay tuned.
