Use Forecast Bids to Win $48B in 2027 and 2028 Contracts

Twelve forecast bids worth $48B are headed for solicitation in 2027 and 2028. Ten of them don’t have solicitation numbers yet; that’s your cue to act. NASA’s $30B Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) contract leads the list and is already moving. Comments on a newly released draft statement of work are due October 14, 2026, and NASA is hosting an Industry Engagement Event at JPL from October 21–23. DISA’s $7.5B Systems Engineering, Technology, and Innovation (SETI) vehicle follows, and DHS’s biometric collection program, NOAA’s satellite ground systems, and DOS’s antiterrorism training services round out a list that will define market position for the next two years. Every entry is still pre-RFP, which means requirements aren’t locked and neither is the field of competitors.
