To win federal best value tradeoff proposals, you need to have the best and possibly the most strengths (Strength-Based Winning®). This class sets the framework for how the government evaluates proposals and what constitutes a strength to government evaluators. Attendees learn how to perform Strength-Based Capture, Strength-Based Solutioning®, and Strength-Focused Proposal Reviews as well as write proposal text that highlights those strengths.

Instructors

Louise Jacobsen Fisher teaches our Modern Proposal Writing, Strength-Based Winning®, and Proposal Management classes. She brings over 25 years of experience leading and writing winning proposals and oral presentation scripts for complex, high-value federal contracts in sectors like defense, national security, civilian, health, and public safety. As an oral presentation coach, she helps clients prepare and deliver compelling, effective, winning presentations, including script-writing, reviews, rehearsals, and recovery. As a proposal writer, she improves the quality of proposal submissions with well-crafted, compliant proposal solutions.
Louise brings a unique blend of proposal management, on-site federal project management, and journalism expertise to deliver persuasive, polished proposals that win. She holds a BA in Journalism from the University of Nevada, APMP Foundation-level certification, and certifications in Capture Management, Orals Presentations, Proposal Management, and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).

Wendy Frieman has over 20 years’ experience winning complex, multimillion-dollar federal contracts for major high-technology companies. As a proposal manager, writer, volume lead, and trainer, Wendy brings proven skills throughout the entire business development (BD) lifecycle, including sales, capture management, proposal management, and program management. She is adept at formulating strategies, identifying strengths and discriminators, integrating capabilities of diverse organizations to create seamless offerings, developing pricing strategies, and managing all technical and logistical aspects of proposal preparation. She expertly presents complex technical proposals, prepares line staff for orals, and directs the proposal review process, including all color reviews.
Wendy has been recognized as the only Certified Professional Proposal Manager (PPM) who is also a National Contract Management Association (NCMA) Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM). She is also recognized as a Fellow by both NCMA and APMP. Wendy holds a Master of Science degree from Stanford University.

Class Price
$895 per student includes all training materials and handouts, and live instructor-led training. No discounts are available.
Cancellations and Transfers
Student substitutions are permitted at any time up to the start of the class (please notify your instructor so s(he) can forward the invitation to the substituted student).
Fourteen (14) days or more prior to the start of the class: No charges will be incurred for canceling or transfer of class registration.
Thirteen (13) days or fewer prior to the start of the class: The full tuition is due. There is no credit available to transfer or refund. If rescheduling, an additional payment in the amount of the new registration will also be due.
Student No Show
If a student fails to attend class, the full tuition is due and there is no credit available to transfer or refund.
Refunds
Refunds are made upon request only for registrations canceled fourteen (14) calendar days, or more, prior to the class start date.
Recordings
No recordings of Lohfeld Consulting Group classes are permitted or available.
