Dana Katalinas

Proposal Development

Dana has over 25 years of experience in business, capture, and proposal development. Over her career, she has led the planning, staffing, and management of multiple simultaneous business and proposal efforts, while achieving corporate and division revenue, profit, and bookings goals. 

Prior to joining Lohfeld Consulting Group, Dana served at VSE Corporation in senior leadership roles, including Director and Vice President. She was instrumental in leading the development of high-quality responses to federal business opportunities for DoD, DHS, and civilian agencies. Her management approach and use of consulting activities led to a 34% increase in proposal submittals. Dana also led the integration of proposal development tools and was responsible for all business, capture, and proposal training.  

Dana is actively involved in several professional associations including Women in Technology, Strategic and Competitive Intelligence Professionals (SCIP), and the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA).  Dana is a member of APMP and previously served on the APMP-NCA Board of Directors.  Dana graduated from Troy State University, Dothan Alabama, with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice.
