How AI Acquisition Tools Are Reshaping Government Contract Bids

AI acquisition tools are moving from pilot programs into daily use across the federal government.At the Professional Services Council (PSC) Federal Acquisition Conference on June 25, 2026, government contracting officials agreed they are in the “messy middle” of multiple concurrent changes—they are coming off a historic year characterized by changes including the Federal Acquisition Regulation overhaul, new administration policies and budgets, staff reductions, and a growing focus on commercial and fixed-price solutions. Several speakers stated they are already using AI to help them manage those challenges.

At the same conference, AlphaSix showcased its tool, Quantify.
